It’s good to know that your savings are protected.
Your savings with Unity Trust Bank may be protected up to a total of £85,000 by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS), the UK’s deposit guarantee scheme.
For further information about the compensation provided by the FSCS (including amounts covered and eligibility to claim), please refer to the FSCS Information Sheet and Exclusions List.
Please contact us on 0345 140 1000 if you require any more information or visit www.fscs.org.uk.
Budget refers to amount of funding available to spend in the year (income).
All we need is confirmation of your annual budget, this will be enough information to confirm your eligibility.
To ensure that our records are up to date, and we can confirm your eligibility, it is always best to provide your annual budget amount.
Local authorities usually receive their budget confirmation from their regional council/ local government every April. It is the latest budget information that you have available.
Unfortunately, local authorities are not eligible for protection under the FSCS unless they have an annual budget of less than €500,000. Unity Trust Bank do not offer financial advice on how deposits can be protected outside of the Financial Services Compensation Scheme.
Please Note:
If you contact the Unity Connect team with a query relating to FSCS eligibility, please be aware that you are still required to send confirmation of your eligibility via the form sent to you through email. Confirmation over the phone cannot be accepted as we need written confirmation, this is following the FSCS guidelines.
