Unity Trust Bank is delighted to have been Highly Commended in the ‘Best Charity Banking Provider’ category at this year’s Business Moneyfacts Awards 2023.
As the largest business finance awards ceremony in the UK, it brings together industry professionals to celebrate success in the business finance and commercial finance sectors.
Feedback from brokers and businesses, combined with data from the Moneyfacts Group research team, determined the finalists in 40 categories and this year’s winners were announced at a ceremony on April 20 at Evolution London.
Dominic Wade is the Chief Finance Officer for Unity. He said: “These are highly coveted, independent finance awards with 10 nominations in each category. We are delighted to have been Highly Commended as the Best Charity Banking Provider.
“For almost 40 years Unity Trust Bank has helped to create a better society. We support businesses and organisations that make a positive difference in the communities they serve.
“Unity are proud to work with thousands of charities across the UK. We provide day-to-day banking services and finance tailored to meet their needs.”
One of the many examples of the positive impact Unity’s lending can make is our support for contemporary Leeds-based arts charity, East Street Arts. A six-figure loan helped the unique 60-bed art hostel open its doors following the pandemic. It also created new jobs and boosted tourism in the local area.
The bank has strong links to charity sector bodies, including the Charity Law Association. Unity understands the environment charities work in, whatever field they operate in.
