Banking with Unity Trust Bank

We want to make the Unity banking experience as straightforward as possible for our Union customers. Here you will find all the information you need to manage your banking, submit changes to your account and find out about the additional services we offer.

What we provide

As Unity customers, you can benefit from:

  • 24/7 access to Online Banking to make online payments and view your account activity.
  • Cheque book and paying in books to put money into your account. To order a book, contact our Call Centre team on 0345 140 1000.
  • Business bank statements to view and search your transaction history.
  • Additional products to help with your day-to-day banking.

To help us act sustainably, we encourage customers to use Online Banking and online statements where possible.

What we ask from you

  • When major changes are being made to your account, we will verify your identity using an electronic identification process. If we are unable to prove your identity using this system, we will require you to provide us with two recent documents. Please familiarise yourself with the acceptable proof of identity documents.
  • Ensure all requests and changes to authorities are signed in accordance with your current bank mandate or account signatory.  If you’re unable to obtain an appropriate signature, please refer to your Head Office.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • To make any changes to your account, including a change of signatory request, visit the Update your Account Details webpage and click the ‘Update Your Details’ button. You can then submit your requested change via our Account Management Form. If you need any support, view our Account Management FAQs.

  • Visit www.unity.co.uk/business-banking/unity-corporate-multipay-card/ and ensure you read the terms and conditions, Key Features Document and fees and charges before applying.

    You will need to download and complete three forms: Business Application Form, Cardholder Application Form, and Corporate MultiPay Indemnity Agreement, and send them back to us, either by email or post.

  • Once we have received all relevant information, our Service Level Agreements are as follows*:

    • Changes to account management: 10-14 working days
    • Opening an account: 7-10 working days
    • Registering for e-payments: 4-6 weeks
    • Applying for a Corporate MultiPay Card: 14-21 working days
