Laura Willis-Shaw: Head of Customer Fulfilment

I have worked in Financial Services for 22 years and I decided to join Unity in 2020 after 17 years at HSBC in branch retail banking. I joined as the Head of Unity Connect because this role matched by 2 biggest passions - people and customer! I have been fortunate enough to have progressed my career into another Head of role within our Customer Fulfilment team. Unity provides you with a variety of opportunities for personal as well as professional development and for me it’s really important that I am able to do my role in a hybrid environment. I have a 2 year old and with a newborn on the way, being able to get the balance at home as well as feeling fulfilled and a sense of achievement in my role is really important to me.

I feel very proud to work for an organisation that truly puts its people of the heart of everything it does.

Jack Clews: Relationship Manager

I joined Unity as an apprentice in 2016 as a Customer Service Advisor. I wanted to learn more about Banking and to see how Unity helps support local communities. I have been fortunate to have worked in different roles across the bank, and became a Relationship Manager in 2024, in which I am responsible for building relationships with existing customers, and onboarding new ones.

Unity have always been supportive of my career and personal development requirements
